1975 Porsche 914 2.0 Laguna Blue with Black Interior with Records SOLD

1975 914 2.0. Laguna blue with black interior. Cold AC, original fuel injection, Fuchs wheels, center console, records from new including original bill of sale. We received this car from another shop in a disassembled condition in 2004 and sent the finished car home to the owner in Florida just 3200 miles ago. The car was sent to us loaded with new OEM parts which we installed. The engine was rebuilt using new Mahle European pistons and cylinders. The transaxle and brakes were rebuilt, the exhaust was backdated to 1973-74 2.0 stainless heat exchangers and Bursch muffler. This is an excellent running and driving exceptionally clean car. Original steering wheel is included. Very reasonably priced at $27,500.   Reduced  $24,500.

 

1975 914 2.0 - SOLD

I am offering an exceptionally nice 1975 914 2.0 available. Forest Green, black original interior. S/N 4752902519. This car has a 1973 914 2.0 engine #GA003665, European , 100 DIN HP replacing the stock 84 HP 1975 engine. This engine is completely and properly rebuilt using Mahle European pistons and cylinders, new bearings on a std/std crankshaft, new stock grind camshaft. rebuilt heads with new exhaust valves, valve seats and valve guides. The engine retains the original fuel injection. Runs excellent, no leaks. Also installed are the less restrictive 1973 2.0 heat exchangers and a new Bursch muffler. This car was completely disassembled for a high quality repaint of the original color, Forest Green, L 64 K, 10 years ago and still doesn’t show any bubbles, rust, dents or flaws. There is no over spray from the repaint. The interior is stock and only has 2 small cracks in the dash top corner, not visible to the driver. This 914 was purchased 21 years ago from California and has not seen any Midwest winters. The chassis is as exceptional as the rest of the car with absolutely no rust in the floors, longitudinal, suspension, sail panels or door jams. Rare original windshield. The brake calipers have been rebuilt, new brake hoses and master cylinder. All original features perform as new, even the windshield washer works. Options include fog lights, Fuchs alloy wheels, center console with working gauges, even the original clock keeps time! “Everything works”

This car idles, runs, drives, accelerates, upshifts, downshifts and stops the way it did 43 years ago except even better.

Porsche 1977 911S Targa with 912E conversion. s/n 9117210761 - SOLD

This is a totally rust and accident free AZ car that was purchased without an engine by the current owner 23 years ago. It has since been disassembled for a respray of the original copper brown metallic color.

All the exterior chrome and rubber has been replaced with original Porsche parts including the windshield. In addition, a nice set of genuine Fuchs 16” wheels have been added.

The  list of 912E original parts used is extensive including transaxle, sheet metal, engine mount, heat exchangers, vintage Stebro stainless steel muffler, rear sway bar and torque weight block. The installation looks nice enough to be original.

The 914/2.0 engine has been completely rebuilt including Mahle European piston and cylinder set, new cam and lifters, rebuilt heads, new bearings. Fuel delivery is with the 914 2.0 Djet system.

The brake calipers have been rebuilt. New ball joints and “Turbo” tie rods were installed.

Very clean throughout. No overspray, no dents or rust. Drives great.
An interesting offering of a 912E Targa that was never sold but was pictured on the 912E sales brochure. Lower maintenance and repair costs than the 911 engine plus lighter weight and better handling.
